Interiors: Almost the Keys

I have to confess: Lately I have been addicted to a series called Bloodline streaming on Netflix. It’s set in the Florida Keys and the scenery seriously blows my mind every time I get to watch it. Long story short: I do not have this beautiful, astonishing, breathtaking sea in front of my veranda every day (sobs), so the only reasonable compromise that came to my mind was heading out to bring the Keys to my home and upgrade our outdoor living room aka our spacious balcony. I have been eyeing with a rattan outdoor seating ever since reading this article and guess what: Whilst ‘rattan’ might not spark the idea of a modern interior, it’s making its way back to home décor and I see it basically everywhere these days including latter series. Since we’re spending a lot of time outside in summer, catching up after long work days, having our meals or just enjoying a glass of rosé, we fulfilled our dream and upgraded our outdoor living space. I also amped up the plant game and invested in a bunch of beautiful palm trees, cacti… I’m quite happy about how the combo turned out: Stylish but comfortable with a lot of love for the details. Because that’s what it’s all about, right?
